A virtue that is very difficult to cultivate and must be protected and encouraged, because it is the basis of the prosperity of society. This virtue was dealt a serious blow with the speculative behavior of some banks. The height of this destructive behavior was the vague and deeply unclear actions of the BNB and the political-financial precedent KTB. The shaken confidence of business and society is now being prepared to deliver an additional blow with <strong>the tax<\/strong> on interest on deposits \u2013 <strong>tax<\/strong>, which politicians promised to phase out, and in recent days these same politicians have talked about increasing it&quot;<\/em>, stated the BSK.\n<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  In their position, it is also said that the mistrust of Bulgarians towards the incorrect behavior of banks and politicians, as well as the instilled fear that deposits are not guaranteed, are counterproductive for the development of the economy.\n<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  <em>&quot;Let&#039;s not forget that Bulgaria is part of the EU and the Bulgarian depositor can easily direct his savings to other European countries or take more extreme decisions. The state&#039;s feeling that it can significantly increase the revenues in the budget from <strong>the taxation of deposits<\/strong> \u2013 a decision not only unprofessional, but also naive. A significant increase in revenues in the budget can be expected by creating conditions for the mobilization of this financial resource for the development of the economy. A jump in the basic revenues in the budget can be achieved only by increasing turnover in the economy, on the way of expanded consumption, on the way of legal and social security, etc.<\/em>\n<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  &quot;Society gains and is enriched when deposits are converted to finance business ventures, when enterprising people take the risk to discover and sustain <strong>jobs<\/strong>, to create added value. Entrepreneurship is the other important virtue, which in our country is not only not encouraged, but on the contrary, it is suppressed and limited. The economy is driven by those who have ideas and, more importantly, the courage to implement them. Others, who have no ideas or courage to take risks, save, but their role in society is no less important. Because their savings make it possible for good ideas to gain credibility through a credit resource. Therefore, we do not find any logic in the attempt to punish them&quot;, the BSK states in its position.\n<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n  In conclusion, the chamber addresses the Bulgarian politicians with the words: <em>&quot;Do not kill the virtues of the nation&quot;<\/em>.\n<\/p>\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ideas for a change in taxation are another example of the inconsistent policy in the financial and economic sphere.
